Teen Talk on Hidden Homeless - July 16th, 2020
We often want to protect our youth from tragic aspects of life like family homelessness and poverty. But with one in every 50 students experiencing homelessness in our community, children see and hear more than we think they do. Youth are interested in social issues and have an innate desire to help others. Help foster their natural tendency and channel it into action by joining Dream Centers and other community partners for open, honest and intentional conversation about the growing issues of family homelessness and poverty. Children 10 years and older are encouraged to participate in the webinar as well.
Addressing a Point of Pain: Women's Health in the Pikes Peak region - September 22nd, 2020
Dream Centers Women’s Clinic opened their doors in 2011 to address the point of pain, women’s health in the Pikes Peak region. Today, the Women’s Clinic continues to be the only free integrated women’s health clinic in the community. Dr. Natalie Johnson and CEO Matthew Ayers will join together to address this point of pain and the impact Dream Centers Women’s Clinic has.
